“ This was our first time visiting, and I brought my family. The restaurant is very clean and the staff is super friendly. Our waitress Angela did an amazing job taking care of us. We were all so excited to see that they source their ingredients locally and that they offered so many healthy choices to pick from. “ We stopped in to grab a bite, and really enjoyed the food here. Our server was Angela, she was fun and took great care of us. We had Margaritas, my Rueben sandwich was excellent and served on big slices of grilled bread. The Cilantro Lime Steak Salad was also delicious! Giant Jumbo Wings were on special so we tried them too. Huge and very tasty. Nice outdoor patio too. If you haven’t been here yet its a great place. We will be back for breakfast next! ”

“ We met our parents for brunch. I wanted a new place, so after doing some research we landed on The Pig and The Hen and I couldn't be happier. The wait staff were friendly and attentive. Although the restaurant was very busy our food came out very quickly and my dish was delicious from the first bite to the last. I'll start with the fried chicken. Amazing. It was crispy and moist with exceptional flavor. The fried chicken along with the fluffy biscuit, were smothered in a creamy sausage gravy that could be proudly served to any Southern Grandma. It was spot on. No clumps or lumps in this gravy. This was really two or three breakfasts in one and each was delicious on their own, in combination I gladly say 5 stars all day!! Well done. ”

“ With a lot of good brunch options in and near my hometown of Fenton, it’s hard to venture out. I’ve been wanting to try out The Pig and The Hen for a while now, and was glad I finally did. We decided to try a few different menu items as everything looked good, but the item that blew us away the most was the Banana Foster Pancakes. When they first brought them out, I was very underwhelmed. That was until they dumped the bowl of all the toppings on top, which made my jaw hit the table. They were so damn good. My other favorite thing we got was the side of seasoned house potatoes. They might be the best ‘hash browns’ I have had. The other items we got were the chicken and Waffles, which were good but can’t comment on as it was my first time ever having them, so I don’t have any others to compare to. Also got the Mushroom Lovers Omelette which was good and tasted very fresh. We each got an expresso martini, which left a little to be desired... maybe it was just crushed ice floating around in it that I wasn’t used to. I still enjoyed it. I Should also mention that even with a full house, the service was great. ”
